We help refugees gain access to employment.

We believe that refugees’ knowledge and skills can make a valuable contribution to our society.

Helping refugees to realise their potential

We believe that our society can benefit from the skills of people from refugee or migrant backgrounds. Together with our partner organisations we help them to overcome language and cultural barriers, as well as the frequent lack of recognition of previous training and professional experience. Young people in particular need guidance and role models to help them find their way.

Being turned down and experiencing unemployment leads to psychological problems, social isolation and dependence on state welfare.

Programme 1: Careers

Young refugees between the ages of 18 and 25 face huge challenges. A lack of support and linguistic and cultural understanding make entry into the job market difficult. The mentoring programme ROCK YOUR LIFE helps them develop their skills and learn what’s important in training and work.

Programme 2: Specialists

Many people with a refugee or migrant background struggle to find a job in Switzerland, despite being highly qualified. Our partner Capacity’s Access Fast Track programme prepares them for the job market with coaching, job application training and networking. Together, we help them make the most of their strengths in Switzerland.
