We are a training company and have been awarded the "Great Start!" seal of approval by Great Place to Work. Our apprentices all agree that we offer excellent apprenticeships, and 80% of them continue to work for us after completing their apprenticeship.

Our apprenticeships: a comparison

Commercial apprenticeships with no exchange year

Duration: 3 years.

You are interested in the insurance business, in pensions and financial solutions, and of course in the business management and digitally networked world of work.

Your spoken and written German is excellent (native language) and you love foreign languages.

Commercial apprenticeships with exchange year

Duration: 4 years.

You want to improve your knowledge of foreign languages with an exchange year abroad.

You are interested in the insurance business, in pensions and financial solutions and of course in the business management and digitally networked world of work.

Your spoken and written German is excellent (native language) and you love foreign languages.

Sports apprenticeship

Your internship lasts for only two years.

In the first year, you spend between 35% to 60% of your working time at Generali.

In the second year, you spend between 60% to 80% of your working time at Generali.

The rest of your time is devoted to the classroom and above all, to your sports training.

During your apprenticeship, you will be able to explore two different branches of insurance.

Commercial apprenticeship

You can choose to complete your commercial apprenticeship at Generali, with or without a matura school leaving certificate (Berufsmatura), over three or four years. It takes three years if you decide not to do an exchange year abroad. You can also take part in the six-month exchange between our Adliswil and Nyon sites. The commercial apprenticeship with an exchange year takes four years, one of which is spent abroad.
