We make it easier to combine work and family life. We offer childcare facilities within easy reach of our offices. If you're a father, you get an extra 10 free days to spend with your family. On marriage or the birth of a child, we give you another 2 free days and CHF 500.-.

Flexibility and balance
We'd like to enable you to organise your working time flexibly by using modern working models such as remote office. In addition, every employee gets 30 days of annual leave and the option of applying for up to two months of unpaid leave. We can also offer you the latest input on developing a healthy work-life balance by means of our occupational health management (OHM).

Staff on permanent contracts enjoy extensive advantages when taking out insurance as well as low-interest mortgages. For example, they can look forward to a discount of up to 25% on non-life and of up to 20% on life insurance. Naturally, this offer also applies to those who live with you in your household.

We cover premiums for daily sickness allowance insurance, and employees – wherever they are in the world – are privately insured against accidents. And, because you can never stop learning, Generali offers a wide choice of seminars and training events and courses open to every employee, with the right content being made available for every stage of their careers and no matter what they're interested in.

Individual staff development
We help you develop through targeted training and further education in your technical, methodological and social skills. To enable you to achieve your goals more quickly, we sit down with you as part of our goal-setting and performance review process to work out agreed development goals together. Your own personal dedication also needs to pay off, so there are transparent appointment and promotion processes and an annual round of salary negotiations.

All development starts with the identification of potential. It's precisely there that our talent management programme PULS comes into play, looking at employees' performance and potential in order to initiate appropriate promotions and requirements. That's why we're keen to make targeted investments in our talented employees, fostering their talents in even better and more intensive ways, and deciding on the next stages of their development jointly with them.

We encourage and build up good management practices because they play a major part in making our Group successful. One of the ways in which we do this is via JUMP, our Junior Management Programme, which prepares new talent for management roles in the back office and field service. It mainly does this through seminars and support from external coaches for our future managers. We also help our managers to achieve their full potential by offering them refresher courses and 360° feedback.
