A sales representative of Trading AG has his wallet stolen. He immediately arranges for the company credit cards to be blocked. Nevertheless, the fraudsters succeed in withdrawing a significant amount of money from the company account even after the theft has been reported. The bank refuses to accept any liability. Thanks to Fortuna, the bank finally credits the stolen amount back to Trading AG in full.

Identity theft

Gastro AG’s website is hacked and misleading political and racist statements are published on it. Fortuna brings charges against the perpetrator and files claims for damages.

A local toyshop launches a website under the same name as Modelplane AG. Fortuna intervenes on the company’s behalf and the toyshop is forced to change the name of its website.

Your cover begins after a waiting period of 60 days from the date the contract begins. The insurance covers legal cases that occur during the contract term and are reported to Fortuna during that period. When the contract comes to an end, the insurance is renewed automatically for one year at a time unless cancelled one month beforehand.

Internet legal protection insurance has a maximum insured amount of CHF 20,000 per legal case in Switzerland and, if specified, CHF 10,000 in Europe and CHF 5,000 in the rest of the world.

Depending on the module and insured risk, cover applies in Switzerland, Europe and the rest of the world.

Your company and the day-to-day operations of the co-insured companies and subsidiaries listed in your policy.

The premium depends on your company’s business activities, revenue, payroll and number of the employees.
