We Pay Fair.

Excellent: Seal of approval for equal pay

Generali Switzerland has been awarded the “We pay fair” seal of approval by the University of St. Gallen. This shows that salaries adhere to the principle of “equal pay for work of equal value”.

A cause Generali passionately believes in

The Swiss Federal Constitution has been stating that men and women have equal rights since 1981. Yet, according to a study produced by the Federal Office for Gender Equality, even today, many years later, there is still a gender pay gap of seven to eight per cent. This is even when they perform the same work and have the same qualifications. Diversity & inclusion continues to be an issue that companies cannot ignore and that presents a challenge.

This seal of approval is yet another important milestone in terms of our efforts to achieve even greater diversity and equal opportunities.

Generali Switzerland passionately believes in diversity & inclusion. Wage equality between women and men is a key aspect here. That is why Generali Switzerland asked the University of St. Gallen to analyse the salaries of its employees.

The results of the salary analysis by the Competence Centre for Diversity & Inclusion (CCDI) of the University of St. Gallen show  that the salaries paid adhere to the principle of “equal pay for work of equal value” enshrined in the Federal Constitution.
