Friendly Work Space.

Excellent: Quality seal for health promotion

Generali Switzerland receives the “Friendly Work Space” label from Health Promotion Switzerland. This seal of quality is awarded to companies that systematically and sustainably promote the health of their employees.

Generali attaches importance to the health of its employees

The health of our employees is very important to us. For this reason, we asked Health Promotion Switzerland to assess our occupational health management system (OHM). The result: Generali Switzerland has received the “Friendly Work Space” label. This seal of quality is awarded to companies that have systematic OHM programmes and thus sustainably support the health of their employees.

Assessment by Health Promotion Switzerland

Generali underwent a detailed assessment for the certification. A total of 25 criteria were checked, including in the areas of motivation and appreciation, career development, trust in management, relationship with line managers, continuous training opportunities and prevention.

Generali received top marks in the areas of balancing career and private life, absence management and reintegration measures, development opportunities, skills and health requirements, training and continuous training as well as company guidelines.

Our employees’ health is their most important asset. That is why we, as an employer, consider it our duty to actively promote and protect the wellbeing of our employees.

For a healthy future

“The label from Health Promotion Switzerland is confirmation that we are on the right track with our OHM. This naturally gives us a lot of motivation to improve further and to continuously implement new measures to support our employees. At the same time, the assessment also highlighted where we would like to improve even more in the future”, said Schmid.

The next projects are already in the starting blocks: in March 2020, for example, the head office in Adliswil will be opening its "relaxation room", which will offer employees the opportunity to withdraw from hectic everyday life and relax.
